BlogPotomac is a great professional development event for greater Washington, DC area bloggers and anyone interested in social media marketing. I just learned that this year’s event will take place on June 12 at the State Theater in Falls Church.
The one-day event features nationally renowned speakers and advanced discussion of best social media marketing practices.
I attended last year. It was a great opportunity for networking. The focus was on blogging for professional purposes, which fit my interests nicely.
The speakers were interesting and thought-provoking. But, in a room full of social media enthusiasts there was more keyboarding going on than actual talking among participants and presenters.
For $95 I recommend this event for anyone who is interested in doing more with blogging and other social media.
