In my work at Balance Interactive, I encourage clients to make their websites more engaging for vistors. The website that Chili’s has created to support their findraising for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital is a great example of many ways to offer an engaging site.
- Set a reminder for the date that the donation will be made
- Sign up for e-mail notitifications
- Design and post a pepper
- Vote for the “pepper of the week”
All this and more on one compact home page. There’s also a call out to stories of the people served by St. Jude’s; sharing stories is another best practice I always encourage.
